Congratulations to all the STEM Academy students who participated and presented their projects at this year’s Regional STEM conference at the Cape Cod Community College on Saturday. Our students did an outstanding job in describing their English, engineering, and science projects. I received many kudos for the way in which STEM Academy students presented their work. They were truly excellent ambassadors for the STEM Academy. And much of this success is due to the hard work and dedication of Mrs. Hyde-McGuire, Mrs. Lavelle, and Mrs. Morris, all of whom attended the event. This is the largest STEM conference on the Cape and around 1,000 visitors attended.
Plans are underway for this year’s STEMabration (June 7) for all 6th graders as they prepare to come to the STEM Academy. There will be a meeting for any parents of 6th, 7th, or 8th grade students to help plan the event. The meeting will take place in A111 at the STEM Academy next Thursday, April 7 from 6:30-8:30 PM. Any interested parent is welcome to join us.
